The Senegal international has kept more clean slates in the competition than any goalkeeper from the Premier League

Mendy has set a Champions League record having kept a clean sheet in the 2-0 defeat of Real Madrid.

The 29-year-old has not leaked a goal in eight encounters out of 11 in the last campaign. That is the most in a single season by any goalkeeper playing for an English team in the history of the competition.

Γ‰douard Osoque Mendy is a professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Premier League club Chelsea and the Senegal national team. Starting his career in his native France, Mendy played in the Le Havre academy before signing professional terms with third division Cherbourg in 2011.

The Goalkeeper who has appeared in 31 matches last season in Premier League, playing a total of 2746 minutes. Edouard Mendy concedes an average of 0.75 goals for every 90 minutes that the player is on the pitch. Their Clean Sheets ratio is currently at 52%. That means Edouard Mendy has kept a Clean Sheet in 16 matches out of the 31 that the player has played in.

Edouard Mendy scored a total of 0 goals so far last season in the league, which placed him at 18th in the Chelsea squad’s Top Scorers list.
